Turmeric promises so many health benefits for your body! It can help you to stabilize your mood, calm you down, helps you with soothing anxiety and fights against depression. It also helps with skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis. It purifies blood and eliminate sugar in the blood so is as well amazing for diabetic people. It also amazing for better sleep, weight loss and its also anti inflammatory and is very strong antioxidant! It might be one of the most effective nutritional supplement in existence.

Curcumin is yellow orange powder extracted from turmeric root. Curcumin inserts deep into cells membrane. Piperine which its found in pepper increases the effect of curcumin on body. Turmeric holds a high place in Ayurvedic medicine as a cleanser of the body.
HOW IT CAN HELP WITH MY ANXIETY OR DEPRESSION?
Anxiety is described as a rush of adrenaline of pure fear and nervousness that completely takes over our body and mind. That is a really accurate describing of the fear I have been experiencing and I belive many of you know this feeling. So turmeric was one of my awesome remedies or tricks that I found out to help me with that fear that almost drowned me in my own home. We live in the time where energies are shifting faster so we have to resolve our traumas faster! When you get caught in the triggers and old fears that are coming on the surface again, that is all the purpose for cleansing of old that doesn’t serve us anymore, so the new can come in. To help you calm these energies down you can start consuming turmeric on daily basis and after few days, weeks you will see the result. Some researchers says you would see the result after weeks but I noticed a bit of the changes in a mood in a week, for my skin it started to show in a 2 weeks, after that the eczema slowly disappeared.
This is only one of resolutions you can start taking to help you but all you have to do is always discover and learn more.
Because of all that is happening it might push us even into depression and when everything falls apart we might feel helpless. I actually started to drink turmeric because of my eczema that I had all over my face, but than I noticed it also improved my mood! I felt less anxious, calmer, less moody, I could function better at work, I was more productive,… I also saw big difference when I stopped using it for some time. The anxiety that occasionally came, was more severe , I had more weird thoughts, also eczema started to show again on my forehead again,… So I had no reason to not try it again!
There has been many researches made on turmeric that has shown that its effective with treating depression. Curcumin have an antidepressant and antixiolityc effect that has ability to modulate levels of serotonin and dopamine. Its also used for brain health to improve overall mental health and cognitive functions.
So yeah turmeric is indeed amazing supliment for many things!

In winter time and now that corona is making a big mess around the world its very important for us to boost our immune system. This means that we need to start taking care of our bodies more and start consuming beneficial and nutrition foods that would help us feel better and not make us sick. One of the supplements is of course turmeric or ginger. I also combine both together. Turmeric is also antioxidant that can neutralize free radicals! It will also boost the activity of your own body antioxidant enzymes! Which is I think a big win win! It actually helps your body to start defending on itself!
AVOID THE STRESS FIRST
Whoa who isn’t amazed by this amazing supplement yet?! I most certain am! But lets talk about stress now. Stress has a really big impact on our health. You probably know that already but we weren’t really paying so much attention to this because we were thought that its normal to live under pressure and just hustle all the time and watch news like everyone do, talk shit about others and how messed up world, like everyone do and so on. But these things are making us weak! We are making ourselves exposed to negative and we can get hurt more easely. So try cutting out negative people, negative thoughts – work with affirmations, meditate, take a walk in nature everyday, stop watching news, cut out alcohol and smoking,… Really just imagine how amazing would it be to feel secure and strong :). It is crucial to make our energetic bodies strong so just try and change something and make more research on this because it really is important!
5 WAYS TO CONSUME TURMERIC
Always make sure to get organic turmeric. If you are able to put hand on fresh turmeric roots that is amazing! But its easier to just use powdered one :) In fresh one is also more essentials and nutrients because the powdered is a bit of processed. Fresh one is also amazing for tea or smoothie, you can similar use it as the powdered one as well.
As I mentioned before the turmeric is enhanced up to 2000 times when consumed with pepper! So make sure to use pepper with your mixtures, you can also just mid a teaspoon of it to turmeric cup. Also note that its fat-suble, so if you don’t drink diary milk you can just add a pinch of coconut oil to the recipes.
1.MAKE YOURSELF A SOOTHING GOLDEN LATTE
This one is amazing before bed! You will sleep like a baby after this amazing drink. If you have severe anxiety, you hardly sleep at night and you might have nightmares this is what you should definitively try! I recommend you to try this drink before you go to sleep or you might want it even in the morning :)
You will need:
- 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of ginger powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of ceylon cinnamon
- A pinch of pepper
- 1 teaspoon of honey or agave
- 2dcl of any milk
- 1/4 teaspoon of coconut milk (add especially if you don’t drink diary milk)
Mix all together in a cup and put it on a stove to heat it. I cook it in my enamel cup so I can drink directly out of it after its done. Heat it up, but do not boil it. Wait till it starts forming a foam on top and its seen how ingredients are mixed well together, than just take it off the stove. Wait a little bit to cool down and here you go – enjoy <3. If you trying to get a better sleep I recommend you to drink this one hour or half an hour before going to bed. It will calm you down and you will sleep more peacefully and get more quality sleep. In the morning you will definitely feel more energized and positive :).
This drink is great if you are in the rush or you just want to drink it faster because you do not like the taste so much. I like to drink it in the morning. Just mix all ingredients together and drink it :)
You will need:
- Half of teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of ginger in powder
- pinch of pepper
- a little bit of milk to increase the absorption
- or/and a little bit of virgin coconut oil (if you use plant based milk)
- 1dcl of warm water
Mix it up and drink :)
If you just love smoothies in the morning! And this is also a great way to include a turmeric into your ritual. When I make my smoothies I try to use only organic ingredients. The turmeric is the one supplement you can also add to it if you don’t like the taste but you want to consume it :)
Fruit smoothie ingredients:
- 1 banana
- 1 orange for juice I squeeze by myself or just cut the orange on pieces
- a handful of frozen or fresh raspberries
- a handful of frozen of fresh blueberries
- 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- half of spoon of virgin coconut oil
- add desired amount of water or any milk
This recipe is for about 0,7l smoothie :). Now mix it us till no clumps are in the smoothie! *Cheers*
This awesome and refreshing smoothie if great for lifting up you spirit and energizing you a bit :). They are great if you are in the rush, you just grab it for later.
What do you need:
- handful of fresh spinach
- 2 spoons of oatmeal
- lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric
- desired amount of water or oat milk ( I put a lot more water into this smoothie than in fruity one – at least 2dcl)
Now mix it up and enjoy, cheers :)
ADD IT TO DIFFERENT FOODS
You like the taste and you want to add it to the different foods? Sure why not, just sprinkle it into rice or put it into marinades and sauces! You can try it in the different soups or scramble it with your eggs! You have multiple choices and these is many more different ways to use it.
